A Healthy Meal? I Can Fix That!

I had to laugh after reading a comment related to a recipe for chicken chili I was checking out. The recipe calls for chicken breast, onion, garlic, veggie oil, water, cumin, some canned veggies (beans, corn, chilies) and some chicken stock powder. Not exactly Real Food, but it's easy enough to substitute if you're inclined. And since you can get low-sodium versions of most canned veggies, then I can see why the commenter described it as "a healthy, low-fat, low sodium meal". The funny part was near the end of the comment when she pointed out that "[w]e garnished with shredded cheese, sour cream and salsa and ate with Tostitos Scoops!"

Un-freaking-believable!
