This morning I can definitely feel the difference between 6 and 8 hours sleep. Six feels like enough when all I've done is sit on my ass all day, and it's just going to be more of the same the next day. But as my days get more active, more sleep definitely feels better than less.
So while I've got a lot of stuff I want to get done today:
- deal with grocery deliveries (which includes cleaning and organizing the fridge, the pantry, and all the various places we stash groceries -- we've got shelves and a freezer in the garage, in the closet under the stairs, and we're also keeping some food in the little closet in the laundry
- take paper and cardboard from the garage to the recycling center
- go to the grocery store and get things that either I forgot to put on the list, or they didn't have in stock
- go for a walk
- do another upper body workout
- finish reading Michael Shermer's The Mind of the Market because it is now overdue and I need to return it to the library
my Mission of the Day is to get to bed by 10 o'clock tonight.
I'll be getting up at 6:30 to go to meeting tomorrow, so if I'm going to get a decent night's sleep, I need to get to bed by 10, if not early. On a Friday night. That just don't seem right at all!
