My iPod is conspiring against me! I use it as an alarm, and for the second morning in a row, it's gone off an hour early. That meant a 5:30 start yesterday, and a 6:30 wake-up today. So yesterday I spent the extra time sitting out on the back patio drinking a cup of coffee and waiting for the sun to come up, which was nice and relaxing and great right up until it started raining. Today it was wet and gray but not raining (yet!), so I decided to get in a walk.
I discovered last night that a walk around the school takes about a half an hour. I added in a little extra today trip through the park on the other side, and brought it up to 40 minutes. Google Earth says that's about 3.25 kilometers (2 miles). Next time I think I'll add in the bigger park as well, and maybe get it up to a full hour. I think having set routes for 30 minute, 45 minute, and 1 hour walks will make it easier to do them whenever I've got a little spare time.
So 24 hours into my 4 week plan, and I've earned 11.5 Exercise Points. Sweet!
