Damn, it looks like it's just going to be one of those weeks. When I went to the freezer to get the liver for last night's dinner, it wasn't there. It turns out that Jordo forgot to include it in the delivery. That's a real bummer. So I defrosted and cooked the steak that I'd planned to use for fajitas. Which was good eatin' and all, but I'd been psyching myself up for the liver and onions, and now I'm going to have to wait and give it another shot next week.
On top of that, it's still raining (although so far today it's beautiful and sunny). I'm hoping that it lasts for a little while. If it does, I might be able to squeeze in a walk today. I'm headed into the city in a couple of hours to drop into King O'Malleys for a few mugs of ale (and stout, and lager, and maybe even an Irish cider) and to hear George Hrab perform at a special Skeptics in the Pub event, and to hang out with some folks from Canberra Skeptics and Australian Skeptics. I've been looking forward to it for a couple of months, and in a very small way helps make up for the fact that I couldn't go to TAM Australia. It should be a really good time.
