Slow-carb Diet Day 3: The Weight-Gain Has Arrived

My daily morning weigh-in continues trying to tell me and I testing story about what happens after I eat a ridiculous number of calories in a day. After having lost nearly 3 kg in 3 days, after my 5500 calorie binge, I lost another 0.8 kg by the next morning. Then the next day, my weight stayed the same. And this morning, the scales informed me that I've put on 0.2 kg.

I've read a few other slow-carbers say that after having their binge day on the weekend, it's Wednesday before they start taking the weight off. But I don't think I read anybody saying that it took a couple of days for the weight to start going on in the first place. In any case, I'm hoping that I start losing again in the next day or so, because I'd really like to get a number under 150 kg on weigh-in day.

I had the usual breakfast, and for lunch I had more of the bean mix and a hamburger steak. Once I was eating, I suddenly realized that a small salad would've been with it, so I'll have to keep that in mind for next time (which is tonight at dinner!).

I've only done one ten-minute session on the cross-trainer today, but it was a good one. Since I've been taking it slower and focusing on longer distances and times' I thought that today I'd go for a shorter, more intense workout. My goal was to try to do 3k in 9:00, and with a little luck, maybe break my record of 8:50. My new personal best is 8:31. Oh, the FUCK yeah!

And with it being the first day of school, and the first day of toilet training for Tom, that's all I've managed to get done. But as soon as I publish this, I'm headed out to the garage for another throw-down with that heinous bitch of a cross-trainer. Really, I am. I promise!

1905+1563+2443=5911 (Update: Sorry, this is not some kind of secret code. It's the number of calories I  burned on the cross-trainer from Saturday to Monday. For no reason in particular. I was just curious, and needed to write them down somewhere so I could add them up.)
