My weight this morning was 149.4, a loss of 1.2 kg since yesterday. Yeah, I was pretty surprised, too. The only thing I don't like about it is that I don't really see any reason why. I didn't do anything different, and I felt like I had a better grasp of what might be going on with my body when the weight-loss was fairly steady. But hey, I ain't complaining. I'll take it, and maybe as I keep going, I'll be able to see some patterns and make more sense of it all.
After that, I had my usual breakfast (600 cals), then steak and vegetables for lunch (515 cals) and again for dinner, with the addition of a couple of scrambled eggs (655 cals). My total calories for the day was around 1800, minus 490 burned in three 10-minute sessions on the cross-trainer, for a net of about 1300.
That's not a lot of exercise, and the small amount I actually manage to get done all happened before the kids got home from school at 3. Each session was short, but I upped the resistance to the point that my legs were trembling and burning by the time I finished each session. But for whatever reason, as the day went on I just felt less and less motivated to get on the damned thing and do any more. I'd say that maybe all the extra activity is really starting to wear me out, but then I stayed up watching movies until nearly 2 am, so I'm not convinced that's what's going on.
Still, I'm not going to beat myself up over it too much. I mean hey, 1.2 kg down, right?
