Weigh-in: 23 April, 2012

Today's Weight: 159.7 kg (352.0 lbs)
Change: -2.1 kg (4.63 lbs)
Total Loss: -35.8 kg (78.9 lbs) 


Finally! I'm under 160! That's the first time in somewhere close to a year. Back in March 2011, at the end of my 30-day Slow Carb trial, I was down to 146.1, and by August 2011, I was back up to 165.6. It's about damned time! 


Looking back at my records, it's taken me 8 weeks to get from 171.2 down to 159.7. That's an 11.5 kg loss, for an average of 1.43 kg (3.15 lbs) per week. I guess when you consider that I haven't been counting calories and haven't been doing any sort of regular exercise, that's not bad. 


But this week I didn't do anything special, and I lost 2 kg. Nothing special unless you count the fact that I had that big carb-fest on the Saturday before, and put on 0.7 kg. Maybe that's got something to do with it, but for now I'm going to go with the idea that if I stick with what I'm supposed to be doing, I should be able to lose 1.5 to 2 kg per week, so I'm setting my goal for getting back under 150 kg for June 4.
