Wow, what a helluva day. The chorizo and lentil stew was sooooo freaking delicious. The boys went nuts over it. But they were even happier with the freshly-baked bread rolls, which were a totally last-minute thing that I decided to throw together. Just plain, white bread rolls. I think it's the butter that got them. I cooked these in a muffin pan, and greased it with butter, then brushed the tops with more butter when they came out of the oven. Mmmmm...good bread.
So the stew, the bread (and butter) and a small bottle of Coke meant dinner was about 24 ProPoints. Added to soup for lunch (0 PPs) and coffee for breakfast (1 PPs), and my 3 meals came to 25 PPs. But Tom and I went for an afternoon walk around the pond (5 APPs), then had a little mid-afternoon snack--a Leda bar (3 PPs) and a few pieces off a block of Green & Black's Maya Gold (2 PPs), and after dinner I went for a quick 35-minute walk (5 APPs), then another 20-minute Wii Fit session (2 APPs) to bring my total up to an hour, then I kicked back and had a coffee (1 PP) and a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream (1 PP).
So my total for the day was 33 ProPoints eaten, and 19 Activity ProPoints earned. Not bad for a Tuesday. :)
And I've managed another 20 minutes of reading, and I'm pretty confident I'll get in the remaining 25 as soon as I post this and get my tired ass to bed. So I'm going to call my daily mission accomplished! I'm going to try to get in at least another hour tomorrow before work. And an hour of Wii Fit and an hour of walking. Should be a piece of cake.
