Weigh-in Tomorrow

I had another steak from Jordo's for dinner tonight, and it was awesome. I didn't end up having veggies with it as I had planned, but I had a simple salad (baby spinach leaves, onion, and tomato) with it and both were fantastic. A few Coopers Clears (one before, one during, and one after) were nice as well, but to be honest, the beers were outmatched. Then I went for an hour-long walk, and as soon as I post this, I'm going to drag my tired ass to bed.

Looking over my numbers this week, I'm really hoping I get a 2 kg weight loss this week. I ended up saving 73 points this week (nearly one-third of my total allocation), and earned 50 activity points (which works out to be roughly 8.3 hours of walking). Comparing that to last week, with my 1.2 kg loss, with 49 points saved and 32 activity points earned, I think it's clear that I made some much better choices this week.

And in some ways, it's quite a bit better than another week back (when I had a 2.4 kg loss) when I saved 37 points, and earned 55 activity points. I mean yeah, I walked more that week (nearly an hour more), but a lot of my activity points were used to make up for going over my daily food points. That week, a third of my 55 activity points were used to make up for eating too many points, and this week, none of my 50 activity points were make-up points, plus I saved another 23 points on top of that.

If that doesn't get me back on track to meet my 10kg goal, I'm really not sure what will. I mean yeah, I could eat heaps of veggie soup and a little bit of lean protein, keeping my daily food points in single digits, exercise 3 or 4 hours a day, but that's not sustainable. It might work to get me my 10kg loss, but I couldn't keep doing that indefinitely. On the other hand, I'm more than happy to keep doing things the way I did this week. If I don't see the 2kg drop I'm hoping for, I'm still confident I'll get a good result.

On another potentially-interesting note, a few hours after I do that weigh-in, I'm going to be sitting in the Hog's Breath Cafe celebrating James' birthday with the family (minus Jack) and a few of James' friends. I haven't decided what, if anything, I want to eat while I'm there.
