Thirteen minutes on the Cross-Trainer of Doom this morning. What an awesome way to start the day. Not. But there is definitely something to be said for getting the exercise out of the way first thing in the morning. No nagging guilt throughout the day. Except for the occasional thoughts that since my cross-trainer sessions are so short, maybe I ought to do more than one a day. So far, I've managed to overcome those dangerous impulses. :)
On the food side of things, I was out of spinach this morning so I couldn't have my green smoothie. Instead, I went out to our sad little container garden (about half the stuff we started out with has died) and picked a few cherry tomatoes, some basil, oregano, and chives and chopped them up with a bit of bacon and some grated cheese, and cooked up the best omelet I've ever made.
