I woke up this morning and my legs were sore after that session on the cross-trainer yesterday. Not crippling. Not so sore that I wished I hadn't done it. But sore enough that on the way to pee I was already thinking that I might take it easy and leave the cross-trainer alone today. So I peed, got a drink, and got on the bastard of a thing.
I didn't break any records today, but I moved up to Program 2 (hills), and still did my first 3k in a non-record-setting-but-still-respectable 10:20. Then I stopped worrying about how fast I was going, and just concentrated on staying on the thing. I did another 3k in 11:30, kept going to finish the program, and kept going after that to finish my third 3k in 11:55.
That's 9k in 33:45. With hills. I'm happy enough with that.
