Good news: I just got off the cross-trainer after doing 11 minutes. I was going to stop at 10, then realized that if I kept going a little longer, I could still break a record in a different way, by hitting the 3 km (or whatever the thing measures distance in) in 11 minutes. The other day it took 13 minutes to make it 3 km, so that's another way to measure progress, I suppose.
Bad News: It turns out that TODAY is the day the city has shut off our water until 3:30' so I won't be having a shower after my workout. And my Plan B was to use the hose from our water tank, but it turns out that somebody (strangely enough, not one of our boys, I've been assured) left the tap on and despite all the recent rain, our water tank is empty. Go figure.
