40 kilo goal reached! Hell YEAH! I really didn't feel like I was going to hit it this week, and nearly skipped going to meeting. I even told Karen I wasn't going to go. Then I thought back to the blog post I wrote last week, where I said I was going to try to go to more meetings, and told myself that I was a sorry ass for already trying to pike out.
I've set my next short-term goal at 145.5 kg (320.7 lbs) because that will be 40 kgs(88 lbs) lost, but I've also realized that 146.6 kgs (322.3 lbs) will be another milestone. At that weight, I will be 75% of my starting weight. When I passed 156.4 kgs (344.8 lbs) at some point this week, I'd lost 20% of my starting weight. I didn't even see that one coming, but I'll be more than happy to celebrate it in hindsight!
I've also just realized that at 155.3 kg, that means I've got exactly 71 kilograms (156.6 lbs) more to lose to hit my final goal of 84.3 kg (186 lbs). That's still a loooong way to go, but my progress so far is giving my confidence a helluva boost. It's going to take a while, but I will get there.
