Today's Weight: 149.9 kg (330.5 lbs)
Change: -2.5 kg (5.5 lbs)
Total Loss: 45.6 kg (100.5 lbs)
To be totally honest, I was hoping for a bit more. A 2.5 kilo loss is great, but looking back through my weigh-in records, I can see that I've lost more weight (3.6 kg in late Feb, 2.9 kg in early March) with considerably less effort (or at least a hell of a lot less sweating). I'm going to keep going with the slow-carb thing, but I can't help but think that I could've lost just as much weight by just sticking to the Weight Watchers plan and spending an hour or so out on the cross-trainer every day.
I took measurements again, and it looks like I'm not only losing weight, but my body shape is changing as well. This week's numbers are:
Upper arm: 41 cm (-2 cm)
Chest: 130 cm (-1 cm)
Hips: 123 cm (+2 cm)
Thigh: 68 cm (-3 cm)
Calf: 51 cm (no change)
I'm guessing that the increased hip measurement has more to do with my lack of skill in taking measurements than in any actual increase.
But the main thing is that I'm losing weight, and even though I'm exercising a lot more than I was before, I feel like I have more, not less, energy.
