In the City

It turns out that Gungahlin isn't the only ghost town around here. I got to work early on Sunday, and decided to take a little stroll around the city to kill some time. So I walked around City West for a half an hour or so, at midday, and the place was almost totally deserted. I'd thought I might grab a coffee, but I couldn't find an open cafe anywhere. I could've had a beer at the Wig & Pen, or Pork Intestine Dry Pot at the Spicy Ginger Cafe, but no latte or cappuccino to be found.

But no worries, at least I got in a half an hour of walking before work, which was nice. Later, after dinner, I walked around the neighborhood for nearly another hour.

Food-wise, Sunday was pretty standard, except for my weekly breakfast extravagance -- bacon and fried eggs. Yum! Then it was leftover beans and rice for lunch, and pan-fried fish, oven-baked potato wedges and garden salad for dinner.
